WORKAROUND TO WORKFLOW / THE FIRST STEP

Find the problem
behind the
workaround.

Your team keeps the process moving.
Let’s find out why the software can’t.

Discuss your workflow A short conversation first. A paid, scoped audit if we’re a fit.
FOR DISTRIBUTION & LOGISTICS OPERATIONS ERP · SALES · WAREHOUSE · TRANSPORT
01 / SOUND FAMILIAR?

Nothing is broken.
Except the process.

01

We reconcile data by hand.

02

Orders get stuck between systems.

03

The process slows down as we grow.

For teams with working systems, expensive handoffs and a reason to improve them. Bring a real example. You don’t need a technical specification.

02 / WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH

A clear picture.
A practical next move.

A decision your team can act on.
The findings are yours to use, whoever implements them.

DELIVERABLE / 01

The actual workflow

A map of the systems, people and handoffs involved — including the exceptions and manual steps that keep the process moving.

DELIVERABLE / 02

The bottleneck, explained

Findings tied to the evidence available. What is happening, where it starts, and what remains uncertain or needs further investigation.

DELIVERABLE / 03

The smallest useful intervention

A recommended change, its dependencies and risks, and success criteria. Enough clarity to scope implementation without committing to a rebuild.

Illustrative deliverable previews. The investigation and documentation are tailored to the agreed workflow.

03 / EXPERIENCE INSIDE THE COMPLEXITY

I’ve worked inside
the kind of complexity
you’re dealing with.

SAP. TMS. Logistics. Billions of records.

Slow systems. Manual work keeping operations moving. Problems that were difficult to trace across the software landscape.

My work helped make that environment easier to understand, recover and optimise — connecting systems, improving operational visibility and supporting better delivery planning.

THE ENGAGEMENT / A CLEAR STARTING POINT

One workflow.
A defined investment.

Workaround Audit — from€2,500

The initial fit conversation is free. Before the audit starts, we agree a fixed fee for the scope, access and timeline.

Discuss your workflow

The starting scope includes

  • One clearly defined operational workflow.
  • Conversations with the process owner and a technical contact.
  • Review of agreed examples, documentation and available data.
  • A process map, evidence-based findings and a recommended intervention.
  • A walkthrough of the findings and next-step discussion.
Separately scoped

Deep production profiling, broader investigations across additional workflows, and implementation. Any additional scope and fee are agreed before that work begins.

The final proposal confirms the total fee and any applicable taxes.
04 / HOW WE START

One process.
A defined boundary.

01

Check the fit

We discuss the workflow, its impact and the people involved. If another approach is more appropriate, I’ll say so.

02

Agree the scope

Before paid work starts, we agree the process boundary, deliverables, access, fee and timeline.

03

Trace the reality

I work with your process owner and technical team, using walkthroughs, documentation and relevant system evidence.

04

Make the next decision

We review the findings and proposed intervention. Your team can implement it, or we can scope the work together.

What I need from you

A process owner, one real example of the workaround, and agreed access to relevant technical evidence. Confidentiality and access arrangements are agreed before investigation.

05 / BEFORE YOU ASK

Clear expectations.
From the start.

What does the audit cost?

Workaround Audits start at €2,500 for one clearly defined workflow and the starting scope listed above. The initial fit conversation is free. We agree a fixed fee before work starts; the proposal confirms any applicable taxes.

How long does it take?

The timeline depends on the workflow, the number of systems and access to evidence. We agree it before the audit starts.

Will you change our production systems?

The audit is for investigation and recommendations. Production changes require a separately agreed implementation scope.

Do we have to hire you for implementation?

No. You can use the findings with your internal team or another partner. Implementation and ongoing Systems Partner support are optional, separately scoped engagements.

Can you work alongside our ERP or TMS partner?

Yes. The audit can focus on the interfaces and operational workflow around their systems, with responsibilities and access agreed together.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

I’ll review your note and reply by email to discuss fit and arrange a conversation where useful. Submitting this form doesn’t commit you to an audit.
